1. Acceptance
By creating an account or making a booking on PickASlot you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Who we are
PickASlot is operated by CMD CYBERSPACE SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS S.R.L, a Romanian limited liability company (SRL) with registered office at Strada Penes Curcanul 14, sector 3, Bucuresti, registered in the Trade Register under J2022018938403, fiscal code RO46891247, share capital 200 RON subscribed and paid in full. 3. Definitions
“Platform” means the PickASlot website and applications. “Operator” means a venue using the platform to publish bookable slots. “Guest” means a person booking a slot. “We/us” means CMD CYBERSPACE SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS S.R.L.
4. Account
Operators must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity on your account.
5. Our role
PickASlot is an intermediary technical service. The actual booking contract is concluded between the guest and the operator. We are not party to that contract and we do not own the venue.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the platform for unlawful activity, to send spam, to scrape data, to bypass technical limits, or to infringe the rights of others. We may suspend accounts that violate this.
7. Operator obligations
Operators are responsible for publishing accurate venue, price, and availability information; complying with consumer-protection law (OG 21/1992, Law 363/2007); honouring confirmed bookings; and operating as the controller for guest data they collect.
8. Guest obligations
Guests must be at least 16 years old, or book with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By submitting a booking the guest confirms that they meet this requirement. Guests are responsible for showing up at the booked time, following venue rules, and paying any agreed price. Cancellation rules are set by the operator and shown at the time of booking.
9. Payments
Payments today are taken at the venue, not online through PickASlot. Operator subscription billing, when introduced, will be processed by a regulated payment provider under their own terms.
10. Cancellation and refunds
Each booking carries the cancellation policy set by the operator (visible before checkout). Refunds, where applicable, are issued to the original payment method by the operator. See the Cancellation policy page for full details.
11. Right of withdrawal (consumer law)
Bookings for a specific date and time of leisure services are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal under OUG 34/2014 art. 16(l) (transposing Directive 2011/83/EU). Subscription services purchased by operators may still benefit from a 14-day cooling-off period for the first month - contact us to exercise it.
12. Intellectual property
The PickASlot name, logo and software belong to CMD CYBERSPACE SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS S.R.L. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose.
13. Liability
We provide the platform on a best-effort basis without uptime guarantees beyond what is required by law. To the maximum extent permitted, we are not liable for indirect damages or for the conduct of operators and guests. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded under Romanian law.
14. Suspension
We may suspend or restrict accounts that breach these terms, applicable law, or that present a security risk, after notice where reasonable.
15. Termination
You may close your account at any time from the dashboard. We may terminate the service on 30 days notice except in cases of material breach, fraud or legal obligation, where termination may be immediate.
16. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence (if you are an EU consumer) still apply.
17. Disputes
Try contacting us first at contact@pickaslot.io. As a consumer you may use the ANPC SAL alternative dispute resolution scheme (https://anpc.ro/ce-este-sal/) or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/). Courts of Strada Penes Curcanul 14, sector 3, Bucuresti have jurisdiction for disputes not resolved otherwise.
18. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email or in-app at least 15 days before they take effect.
